Compare casino games by RTP, house edge, expected loss, volatility, and long-term player risk.

Bars make the math easier to scan. Higher RTP is better for the player. Higher house edge and expected loss are worse.

What RTP Really Means

RTP means Return to Player. A game with 96% RTP theoretically returns $96 for every $100 wagered over the long run. The missing $4 is the casino’s mathematical edge.

That does not mean you will lose exactly $4 from every $100 in one session. Short-term results can swing hard. You can win quickly, lose quickly, or see results that look nothing like the long-term average.

Higher RTP games usually cost less over time, but bet size and speed of play matter. A low house edge game can still become expensive if you play fast with large bets.

Simple RTP Example

You compare two games with a $10 average bet and 500 bets. Both games produce $5,000 in total action.

  • Game A: 99% RTP, 1% house edge, expected loss $50.
  • Game B: 95% RTP, 5% house edge, expected loss $250.

The difference is not just four percentage points. It is $200 more expected loss over the same betting volume.
