What a slots operations department actually controls

Slots operations is the day-to-day control layer around a casino's electronic gaming floor. It is not just "keeping machines running." The department connects guest service, jackpot procedures, ticket and credit problems, machine access, meter review, floor configuration, performance reporting, vendor coordination, surveillance, security, finance, and compliance.

The useful way to study the department is by workflow. A player sees a cabinet and a screen.
